Emerald Coast Magazine, a Rowland Publishing premier lifestyle publication covering the South Walton/Destin/Fort Walton Beach area, is seeking an Advertising Sales Representative. This position will also handle sales for other Rowland Publishing products in the market, including the Hilton Sandestin Footprints in-room magazine, Emerald Coast Newcomer Guide, and more. May also handle some sales for Bay Life Magazine in the Panama City area. The ideal candidate would have advertising sales experience and relationships in the area. The awards included top statewide writing honors for 850 – The Business Magazine of Northwest Florida, and high honors for the longest standing title, Tallahassee Magazine.

Homes & Land corporate headquarters needed print materials to provide ongoing support to their 300-plus franchisees. This included brand awareness and image ads to use in their publications and promotional flyers targeted to Realtors and apartment managers in an effort to raise awareness about Homes & Land and Rental Guide’s products and services.
Rowland Publishing utilized their in-house marketing expertise and graphics design staff to create beautiful flyers and print ads to entice potential realtors to use Homes & Land products. We conceptualized and executed collateral pieces for franchisees to use in their own markets on a quarterly basis.
Matthews & Hawkins, a highly regarded and well-known law firm based in Destin, wanted a new brochure to show potential clients its depth of knowledge about the region and the breadth of its legal experience.
Hoping for a fast turnaround, the firm approached a traditional advertising agency but was put off by a time-consuming intake process and the fact they couldn’t get a face-to-face meeting with a high-level agency executive.

The Sandestin Alliance comprises five Destin tourism power houses: Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, Grand Boulevard at Sandestin, Silver Sands Factory Stores, Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa, Marriott Residence Inn & Courtyard by Marriott at Sandestin. These businesses were looking for a way to jointly market their “one-stop” vacation paradise called sandestination.
Rowland had great success in prior years publishing the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort’s The Sandestin Globe. The partners decided to transition the newspaper into a piece to promote sandestination. The goal of a newsprint piece was to market the services, amenities, special events, restaurants and retail outlets that sandestination had to offer to visitors. With compelling and well-written editorial, beautiful, full-color imagery and a hometown newspaper name, sandestinaion Star was born.
It is my pleasure, on behalf of The Resort Collection of Panama City Beach to refer Rowland Publishing for a wide array of custom publication services. Seminole Boosters tried to get a quarterly magazine up with an in-house team but quickly realized that they faced several challenges in getting a product delivered on time.
Together with an experienced creative team, designated project manager and extensive knowledge of the publishing and printing industries, Rowland Publishing has put together a quarterly magazine that the university and athletic donors alike can be proud of. Most of all RPI has streamlined the process and allowed the Boosters to get each issue done in a timely manner.
