While surfing the web this morning I came across an intriguing video that Canadian-based The Printing Ink Company produced. It’s a behind-the-scenes look at how inks are manufactured. It’s part science, part passion — all really cool. It’s nice to see that the same passion I have for picking colors that work best in my designs is matched by the companies that produce the inks used to make it look good on paper.

The staff of the Tallahassee Veterans Village had everything they needed to get their Patriot Peanuts fundraiser off the ground: a great idea, a tried and true method for boiling peanuts and a lot of people putting their hearts into a great cause. The one thing they didn’t have was a logo. That’s where we came in.

Each spring members from Rowland Publishing and the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort and Spa gather together to plan out the newest issue of Hilton Sandestin’s Addy award-winning Footprints in-room magazine. After the editorial content and shot list are locked, a two-day shooting trip is planned for late summer, to capture all the art needed for the publication.
